About Gabe Carson
Saxophonist and educator Gabe Carson reveals his passion for music with every note he plays. Gabe has played and performed with prestigious ensembles such as the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Frost Wind Ensemble, Orlando Jazz Orchestra, and Group 1 Crew. He attended the University of Miami studying music at the internationally renowned Frost School of Music where he received the honor of the full tuition Constance Weldon scholarship. He has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, where the Wind Ensemble premiered “Wolf Rounds,” a lively piece by Christopher Rouse commissioned specifically for the group. These days, he can be heard playing around Florida with the “neo-funk” group called The Gerry Williams Band.
