In 1989 the Mexican band TIJUANA NO! of Rock, Punk, Reggae and Ska, originally from Tijuana B.C. Mexico. Their name was simply "No", but as there was another Mexican group with that name, they decided to change their name to "No de Tijuana", to finally shorten it to "Tijuana No!'.
In its initial stage, it had the participation of the Mexican singer Julieta Venegas, sharing ideas and projects that would be essential for their musical concerns. After a few months the band is defined and what would be its official and original line-up remains. Cecilia Bastida (Voice and keyboards), Teca Garcia (Voice, flutes, percussion), Luis Guereña (Voice and percussion), Jorge Jiménez (Guitar), Jorge Velázquez (Bass and chorus) and Alejandro Zúñiga (Drums).

Frontier Rock group for their rejection of discrimination.

In 1991 they recorded their first material independently with the label "Rock and Roll Circus" having as guests Roco and Sax from 'Maldita Vecindad as well as Manu Chao from 'Mano Negra. In 1992, the same record material was not released, but this time under the Culebra Records BMG label, which gives it re. international awareness by promoting the single "Pobre de ti". Said song and video give them the award for the best Mexican alterAutivo Rock video, winning the Golden Pillow in Monterrey Nuevo León.
In 1994, his second production is Transgresores de la ley recorded in the Basque Country and produced by Fermin Muguruza with the participation of Manu Chao, Kropol and Garbancito from Mano Negra; and Fidel Nadal and Pablo Molina from Todos Tus Muertos released under the same Culebra Records BMG record label.
For this occasion Tijuana No! makes his political and social ideals clear, declaring his support for the movement of the Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional E.Z.L.N
Opening new markets and consolidating the band, Tijuana Nol embarks on tours of Mexico, Puerto Rico, the United States and Europe.
In 1998 they switched to BMG US Latin to record their third production Contra Revolución Avenue, where on this occasion the Los Angeles rapper Kid Frost, Angello More from the group Fish Bone, Kim Deal from Pixies and Breeders, and El Cejas and El Mosco from Calavera participated. . During these years Tijuana No! He was part of the rock resurgence in Mexico and alternated with many national and international bands at festivals and concerts repeating and reaching more cities in the USA and European countries.
2002-2003 It is at this time that Tijuana No decides to do a farewell tour due to personal difficulties among its members, this being their most extensive tour in Europe.
Luis Guereña, one of the three vocalists in the group, died in 2004 as a result of a heart attack in his native Tijuana. Since then Tijuana Nol has held a series of concerts paying homage to his partner Luis Guereña.
In 2006 Tijuana No! It is included in the Paseo del Rock Mexicano in the Cuauhtémoc delegation of Mexico City, where there are 50 plates of the best exponents of this genre.
In 2010 Celebrating 20 years of its foundation and paying homage to Luis, Tijuana was not invited to the main stage of the 11th Ibero-American Festival of Rock Vive Latino. Managing to bring together its original members, standing out in their presentation and exceeding the expectations of their own and strangers.
In this given year (2010 - 2019), the band has played at national and international festivals as well as shows. Stellar stations in dozens of cities of the Mexican Republic, such as Puebla, Oaxaca, León, Guadalajara, Monterrey Saltillo, Mazatian, Mexicali, Tecate, San Luis Rio Colorado, Ensenada, Mexico City, State of Mexico, Metepec, Teotihuacán, Texcoco, Chalco, among others, and from the United States such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Ancheim Oxnard, Las Vegas, Atlanta, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Cruz, Chicago and soon New York, always supporting migrant causes, playing for communities Latinas and continuing with their musical and conceptual tradition, taking up the best of their record company with new musicians and arrangements.
Highlights of this stage are representative concerts at the Pepsi Center World Trade Center Mexico City, San Jose Civic Theater in California, House of Blues West Hollywood, Las Ferias de Tijuana among others, without failing to include in the concerts contempt for the despotic policies against Latinos by the United States government.

Immersed in the future, the band is celebrating its 30th anniversary, with a strong artistic activity, developing a new studio album and continuing its musical tradition. After 3 studio albums, one live, several compilations and a documentary film, the music of Tijuana Nol is still valid!

Starsign is a 10-piece Progressive Jazz-Funk-Fusion group from San Diego, California. They have taken influence from Snarky Puppy, Steely Dan, FORQ, and Rush, and blended it into a multi-genre, multi-regional, and multicultural blend that can only be described as “Starsign.” With an award-winning funk guitarist, a pianist straight from the Miami Latin and techno music scene, a drummer steeped in metal tradition, and a whole section of horns who have studied all jazz from Miles Davis to Herbie Hancock, Starsign effortlessly blends genres from every corner of the country into a unique and incredible vibe that can’t be heard anywhere else.
