About Julie Zhu

Julie is a jazz vocalist based in Los Angeles and New York City. Although her academic study is in the STEM field, her passion for music has led to her performing in major jazz clubs, fine hotels, cafes, and concert venues with many esteemed musicians. She has performed with the Joe Farnsworth Quartet at Smalls, Johnny O’Neal Trio at Mezzrow, and various other musicians including Benny Benack III, Maurice "Mobetta" Brown, and Emmet Cohen. Her first studio album featuring selections from the Great American Songbook is scheduled for release in 2024.
